Southern faire starts this weekend and goes for the next seven weeks. I certainly hope that all of our friends who are not working faire, will come out and visit and play for at least a day. Let me know if you would like to come play, and I'll see what we can do to get you in. :)

For those of you who are working faire, are you all prepared? It is amazing how much there is to gather together, isn't it? My hands are stained brown from staining my new wooden chest that Joe and Jeff worked until midnight last night finishing. It is big and gorgeous, and will be SO helpful in the kitchen tent, so I can live with brown hands for a weekend!

Next on the to do list is baking bite size brownies with toothpicks (to symbolize his eating sticks) in them for Shane's birthday, and hopefully wait for Adam's helmet to be delivered, so that his head will be nice and safe. Spoiling my favorite boys, is the fun part of getting ready for faire. :)
